Located between the islands of Flores and Sumbawa in Indonesia, Komodo National Park was established in 1980 to protect the endangered Komodo dragon, and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1991. Today the park is renowned not only for its unique land-dwelling creatures but also for one of the world's richest and most impressive marine ecosystems.

Situated where the Indian Ocean meets the Pacific, Komodo owes its extraordinary biodiversity to the nutrients carried by powerful ocean currents. This natural cycle provides a home for hundreds of different marine species, from vividly coloured coral reefs to manta rays, reef sharks and sea turtles.

For participants wishing to do a total of 9 dives over 3 days, the tour price is $3,200.

For participants wishing to do a total of 12 dives over 4 days, the tour price is $3,400

For participants wishing to do a total of 15 dives over 5 days, the tour price is $3,600

For participants wishing to join as a non-diver, our tour price is $2,650

📋 TOUR REQUIREMENTS

🛂 Passport

To enter Indonesia, you must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the end of your trip. Your passport must have at least 1 blank visa page.

🛃 Visa

Citizens of the Republic of Turkey are subject to current visa regulations when travelling to Indonesia for tourism purposes. The SCUBA-BAY team will inform participants during the booking process about the entry requirements and procedures in force at the time of travel.

🤿 Diving Level

To take part in this tour, you must hold a minimum of an Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) or equivalent internationally recognised diving certification.

As some dive sites within Komodo National Park can have strong currents, we recommend that participants have some basic experience of drift diving.

📖 Diving Documents

We recommend bringing the following documents with you on the trip:

• Diving certification
• Logbook
• Diving insurance (if you have it)
• Nitrox certification (for guests who will be using nitrox)

❤️ Health Condition

You must not have any health condition that would prevent you from diving.

We recommend that participants who have recently had surgery, have a chronic condition or take medication regularly consult their doctor before travelling.

🧳 Diving Equipment

We recommend bringing your own personal diving equipment.

Guests who wish to hire equipment can get support from the SCUBA-BAY team at the time of booking.

🌊 Weather and Sea Conditions

The diving programme within Komodo National Park may be changed by the captain and dive director, with safety as the top priority, according to weather conditions, sea state, currents and national park regulations.
