Kaş

Kaş has some of the clearest water on Turkey's Mediterranean coast and offers a steeper coastal topography than most dive centres in the country. The diving season opens in May and lasts until November. The water is around 17-18 degrees in spring and reaches 27-28 degrees in August and September; visibility often rises to 25-30 metres.

Sheer walls, caves and artificial wrecks together set the character of the area. At sites close to shore the depth increases quickly, which makes it possible to reach a wide depth range with a short swim. The replica of the Uluburun wreck, the sunken Douglas aircraft and the other wrecks in the area are sites that both a new diver and a photographer can dive again and again.

Kaş suits divers who want a diving escape that fits into two days without leaving the country and who want to get in the water whatever their level. A participant making their first open-water dive and an experienced diver looking for depth and walls can go out to different sites on the same day.
