Cultural routes. The programmes in this region do not include diving; they are built on a short flight, a full itinerary and a budget settled in advance.

Three routes do three different things. The Balkans is the nearest and most familiar — five countries, no visa, short distances and layers running from the Ottomans to Austria-Hungary. The Alps is a tour of scenery and infrastructure: cable cars, mountain trains and lakes, arranged so that you can see them without having to hike. Andalusia follows a single historical thread; Granada, Córdoba and Seville show the same tradition as it stood in three different centuries.

Here the season changes the route itself. For the Mediterranean routes, spring and autumn are markedly better for avoiding the summer heat; in the Alps the whole network of mountain lines runs in the summer months; in the Balkans the coastal programme leans on summer and the city programme on the shoulder seasons.

These tours are also open to those who do not dive, and they run between five and eight days.
